Nasal bone separation : The nasal bone is separated using medial and lateral osteotomies.
Correction : The separated nasal bone is moved to be aligned in the center with cartilage transplant.

Septal harvesting : Part of the crooked portion of the nasal septum cartilage is removed.
Correction : The crooked septum is straightened and fixed using previously harvested septal cartilage or other cartilages. If necessary, the septal cartilage is re-fixed to the position of the anterior of nasal spine.

Post-Surgical Process
On the day of surgery
Bruising and swelling may develop gradually, and breathing through the mouth and falling asleep may be uncomfortable. Make sure you drink water often.
Day 1
As it’s most swollen, bruising and swelling may extend to the area around the eye.
Day 5-7
The swelling in your nose will begin to decrease and you will be able to breathe easier once the stitches and tape are removed. The autologous rib harvest site may feel painful when you apply pressure to the abdomen, but it is bearable and will disappear after about a month.
Week 2-3
About 60-70% of the swelling disappears, and the swelling at the tip of the nose goes away slowly.
2-3 months
Swelling disappears by more than 90%, and minor swelling gradually disappears, making the tip of the nose soft.
Precautions and Care

- To minimize swelling and bruising, we recommend applying cold compress for 3-4 days. It is recommended to apply the compress for 15-20 minutes and then rest for 5 minutes.
- You must sleep with your head elevated and in an upright position for 7 days.
- Bruising, swelling, and pain will occur for a few days after surgery. Depending on the individual, these will disappear after about a week.
- Do not remove any bandages, plasters, cotton, etc. after surgery.
- Accessories such as glasses and sunglasses can be worn after 4 weeks.
- You may experience symptoms such as tingling, pulling, tingling, and numbness for about a month, but this is normal.
- If you suddenly experience pain, swelling, or redness, please visit a hospital.
- Avoid contact with water around the stitches until the stitches are removed.
- Washing your face is allowed in the afternoon on the day of stitch removal, and light makeup is allowed after the stitches and tape are removed.
- We recommend taking a brisk walk after the stitches and tape are removed as this will help reduce swelling and bruising.
- You should refrain from exercising, using saunas, steam rooms, drinking alcohol, and smoking for one month.
